Lately in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors surpassed the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls for the greatest regular season record. The warriors finished the 2015-2016 season off with a record of 73-9. While the 95-95 Chicago Bulls finished with a record of 72-10. The Warriors along with this record have broken numerous NBA records this 2015-2016 regular season, such as the best start to a season with a 24-0 record until they were defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks on December 12th, 2015. Also on of the best players in the NBA, Stephen Curry who plays for the Golden State Warriors, has broken records alone. Stephen Curry has the record for the most three-pointers in a season with 402! The record that he beat was his own record from 2014-2015 season with 286. Curry has the first and second best record for the most 3-pointers in a season, with his own teammate Clay Thompson in 3rd. Stephen Curry has also won a Most Valuable Player award, and an NBA Championship in the 2014-2015 NBA season. From the looks of it he will probably win another MVP, and NBA Championship. The Warriors present coach Stephen Kerr, was in fact on the 95-96 Chicago Bulls team. He played on the team that had the previous best regular season record; and now is the head coach of the team that holds the new record, how ironic! Kerr stated, "I never thought anybody would ever come close to breaking the record when I was lucky enough to be a part of it," Kerr said. "I’m shocked we are where we are just because of how difficult it is. More than anything, I’m proud of our guys for laying it all out there, all season long, for putting themselves out there and trying to achieve something that has never been done before. ... Something that is truly great."
